The Lummi Nation Police Department has shared details for a public Celebration of Life honoring former LNPD Sergeant Justin James. Family members, friends, and community members are invited to gather in remembrance and reflect on his life and legacy.
According to the announcement, the ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lummi Wex’liem Building, located at 2100 Blackhawk Way in Lummi. The event is being organized as a time for shared memories, community connection, and support for those closest to him.
In their message, the family expressed gratitude to the Lummi Nation for the support shown during this difficult time. They have also asked that attendees respect the nature of the gathering by observing it as an alcohol- and weapons-free ceremony.
Community members have already begun sharing condolences and prayers online, offering words of comfort to both Justin’s family and his extended community.
