BELLINGHAM, Wash. – An armed robbery has been reported at Fred Meyer in Bellingham, reportedly the Lakeway store. According to initial reports, a suspect allegedly pulled a knife on a loss prevention officer before fleeing the scene.
Bellingham Police Department (BPD) officers are currently en route to the location. The suspect was last seen heading westbound near the I-5 overpass.
Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the suspect to 911. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
